First Day of School 2017-2018

Today is the first day of school for the kids.

Clara was very excited and cried because we couldn't leave as soon as she woke up!  Got the boys out the door with Logan, and then Nathan and I took the girls to drop them off.

So weird but awesome to have all my babies in full-time school.

First day of school 2016–2017

It was the first day of school around here. Unfortunately, my first day of school picture taking has become quite lackluster.   Jared signed up for early morning seminary and was already to the school by the time Nathan and I got home from CrossFit.  I did manage to snap a picture of Clara and Amelia. Clara started kindergarten and Amelia is now in fifth grade.

Nathan dropped Isaac off at school and as they headed out the door I reminded Nathan to get a picture of him.  When Nathan sent me the picture, you will see below, I asked him why it was so far away. He replied, I almost forgot to take it and as I was driving away I snapped this one.

Clara's First Day of Preschool - 2nd Year

Today, this little girl, with her faint red juice mustache, went to the first day of her second year at preschool .  She was super excited to go and has been counting down the days for school to start.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off to School We Go

Sent 3 of my 4 kids back to school this morning.  Well, technically Isaac went back yesterday.

Jared is in 8th, Isaac in 7th and Amelia is in 4th.  Clara starts her second year of preschool after Labor Day.

This past Tuesday, Clara had her first day of preschool and she loved it!

She is growing up WAY TOO FAST!!

Technically, Jared's first day was yesterday, but we had him jump in the picture this morning.  He's in 7th grade, Isaac is in 6th and Amelia is in 3rd.

Clara starts her first year of preschool in a couple of weeks.

First Day of School 2013-2014

I misjudged my morning routine this morning.  Nathan had to step in and take the "back to school" picture. After the kids had left I asked to see the pictures.  

Nathan: Pictures? - he looked at me strangely.

Wendy: Yes, one of all of them and one of each of them individually.

Nathan:  I only took one.

Clearly, he does not understand the logistics of these sorts of things!  At any rate, I am glad to have this picture and grateful that he snapped it for me.

back to school 2010

the boys went back to school on august 25th and amelia started preschool at the "big school" on september 7th.

my little man started kindergarten this year. he was so excited to go and be like jared.

isaac's first day of second year preschool

isaac started his second year of preschool yesterday. he was so excited to start school. it was hard for him last week with jared gone every morning to kindergarten; he is so used to having his big brother around. his cousin kiley is in his class.

it is okay for jared to grow up because he is the oldest, but not isaac. he is growing up too fast. the kid can't sit still for a minute, but he is so cute.

jared started kindergarten today. he was so excited to go and insisted on wearing a sweatshirt. i tried to tell him he would get hot, but he didn't care.

isaac was so cute this morning. when he saw what jared was wearing, he went and got his sweatshirt too. he starts preschool next week.
