We spent a part of our afternoon in the Mt Timpanogos Temple to do baptisms for the dead.

Saratoga Spring Temple Open House

Yesterday we attended the open house for the Saratoga Springs Temple. It's an amazing place! I loved the colors and peace I could already fill within its walls. Nathan's dad and my parents joined us as well as a couple of the girls' friends.

 

Family Temple Trip

 We took a family trip to the Mt Timpanogos Temple to do baptisms. Jared and Kaylee joined us, Nathan's dad, and a couple of Clara's friends.

Payson Utah Temple Open House

Yesterday, we went to the Payson Utah Temple Open House with Nathan's dad.

The car drive there wasn't super long, but apparently our children were tired.

The temple was beautiful, of course and I could feel the spirit within it's walls.  I am so grateful for covenants we make with God and eternal truths we are taught in the house of the Lord.

I decided to continue with the tradition of the kids and I taking a selfie in front the of the temple, like we did at the Ogden Temple.  These are the two we ended up with.

spring break in st. george - day 1

we decided to escape from reality for a few days and head to st george.  it was all pretty last minute, but we had a great time.  we stayed at the st. george inn and suites.  they have a complimentary hot breakfast that was pretty good: waffles, biscuits and gravy, omelets and ham, cereal, bagels, juice, oatmeal, yogurt, etc...

each morning we started out in the lobby of the hotel, eating a good breakfast.

the first morning, we decided to take the kids to see the st george temple and visitor center.  we really enjoyed the family presentation in the visitor's center.

after spending some time at the visitor's center and walking around the outside of the temple, we decided to hit the outlets and do a little shopping.  each of the kids decided to buy a pair of sunglasses with their money.

clara started getting a little bored while the boys were shopping for shoes.  i took a picture with her to entertain her for a minute and then handed her my phone to play games.

when we got home, i noticed a nice collection of pictures she had taken.

after our shopping, we headed back to the hotel so that the kids could swim in the pool.  that was all they really wanted to do anyway.

later that night, we met up with my little brother who is currently working just outside st george.  we went to dinner and enjoyed spending some time with him.

it finally came!!!!

this picture was a christmas present from nathan (he ordered it the end of november) and it arrived today. i promptly made him hang it up.

i know... slow shipping. several times nathan said he was going to call and cancel the order because it was taking so long, but i talked him out of it each time because i really like it and it was such a good deal.
