BYU vs Fresno State 2015

This past Saturday, we loaded up and drove to Provo to attend the last BYU Football home game for this season. We had a great time shopping the Cougar Den for some new gear, chowing down on +Costa Vida burritos, following those up with cougar tails, taking a bunch of selfies, and leaving that stadium with a win against Fresno State!

AND, I got a picture of Nathan smiling!!

At the end of the 3rd quarter, they always play this song, Clara showed some TRUE BLUE COUGAR SPIRIT and danced along perfectly!

BYU vs UCONN - another late game

Last weekend we attended yet anther late BYU Football game.  This time BYU was up against UCONN. We had a good time.  This was the first game where it got a little cold as it got later and we got some rain.  Good thing I remembered our ponchos!!

Me and my boys.  Jared brought a friend along.

Good times!

BYU vs Boise State - Football Home Opener

Last weekend we attended BYU Football's home opener against Boise State.  What a great game! Even though is was a really late game, I'm glad we stayed until the very end.

I left my phone at home, so thanks to the boys for all of the fun photos of that evening.

Nutshell November

Seriously, where did this month go?

Here's the majority of my November in a nutshell.

I've started branching out a little more with Clara's hair.

Isaac wore all black to family home evening one Monday.

We went to a REALLY cold BYU Football game.

Isaac has been playing on a basketball team.  Nathan and I have been hauling him all over the county. He's having a great time.

Hope your Thanksgiving is a quiet one!

Our First Family Football Game This Year

I've been neglecting my blog a little bit.  Life has been busy.

A little over a week ago, we attended the BYU vs Virginia football game as a family.  This was our first one this year where all of us went.  We had a great time even though it was quite warm!

 Walking over to the stadium

Isaac and I at the game.

Clara and I

Jared and I - after I acquired a visor to block some of the sun.

Amelia and I once we got back to the car after the BYU WIN!

Nathan was there too, but somehow I didn't manage to get a photo of him.  Oops...

Ping Pong Annihilation

Nathan is not too happy with my picture taking.... or my ping pong skills!
Nathan and I attended our Stake's Date Night this past weekend.  It's a new thing in our area and Nathan and I weren't sure what to expect, but we had a great time.

We played volleyball, ping pong and a card/board game.

Nathan and I didn't fair too well in any of the games.  We didn't even come remotely close to winning while playing the board game.  I managed to rip open my finger with my wedding ring while playing volleyball. And last, but certainly not least, we were completely annihilated by another couple (the Belnap's) playing ping pong doubles, twice!

Our next Stake Date Night is in April and Nathan and I will be back for more fun.  But next time, we're bringing our A-game!

A Wet Game & Sick Kids

Nathan, the kids and I went to a very wet, cold game on Saturday to cheer on our team.  We left at half-time since the Cougars were so far ahead and our little ones were getting chilled to the bone.

Mental note for me...  Remember that next time it is raining, put on the ponchos before getting out of the car and walking to the stadium.  Don't wait to get to the stadium to put them on or everyone will already be wet. Wet=Cold.  Duh!

Probably as a result of the cold from the game and a lingering congestion from the week before, Jared and Clara were pretty sick on Monday.  I told work that I would be working from home that day and I kept them both home with me.  They slept and cuddled under blankets on the couch while I worked and played nurse.

I also made these for dinner since I had a lot of time to make the dough.

I could do that everyday!

Later that evening Clara found a balloon and tried to figure out how to blow it up.  I wish I would have gotten video of her.  Her poor little cheeks looked like they were going to burst.

The next day we were back to work and school as usual.  Bring on the week!

Another Football Game - This Time With the Family

Last weekend we went to another BYU Football game.  This time we took all of the children and the outcome of the game was much more desirable.

A blurry picture of Nathan, his dad and Clara walking over to the stadium.  It's hard to take a picture, walk backwards and focus at the same time!

And of course, me being me, I had to document the outing with some pictures.

Nathan and I - is it me or does he look annoyed with me in this picture?

Jared and Isaac

Clara, Pa and Amelia - it was a little chilly that night.

I can get a little bored and distracted during the breaks at the end of the first and third quarter, so I took more pictures.   First, a selfie of Isaac and I.

Then we took some silly pictures.

They do this cool banner thing during the end of 3rd quarter break.  They turn it each time and it says different things on each side.

and because my attention knows no bounds, I took a panoramic shot.
