an update...

in november, nathan and i went to a byu football game. we had a lot of fun and i got to snuggle with my hubby when the temps dropped.

also in november for a mia maid class activity we made pies.  sis o and i demonstrate our lovely baking skills.  i did my best head-tilt for this picture.  i hope you enjoy that jess! :)

just before christmas, jen and i took our kids to see the lights at temple square.  it was cold but beautiful, of course.  unfortunately, there isn't a picture of all of us, just this lonely one of jen with the boys.
 

we celebrated amelia's 6th birthday a few days before christmas also. i can't believe how old she is getting. she was super excited to get a dsi!

and then....
she started loosing teeth.  she's lost 2 so far and claims that there are a couple more loose ones in there.  no more growing up, i mean it!!

what we did in october 2011

jared and i went on a date to costco.  not very exciting, but a good time.

i called him to see if he'd like to take me out and his response was, "mom, i'm not old enough to date!"  to which i replied that he was old enough to go on a date with his mother. he showered and changed his clothes and actually combed his hair just for our date!  i felt special and i think he had fun as well.

we went to cabela's to get some stuff for nathan's hunts.  clara enjoyed a just-her-size camo recliner while amelia played at the shooting gallery.

 

and we celebrated halloween with some of the cutest spooks around!
